EUC Engineer

About The Role

 As an EUC Engineer, you will provide support to HC-One colleagues through the provision of your advanced technical knowledge  to build, deploy and manage IT hardware, software and services focussed on the end users of IT.

Primarily this will be the build and support of end user devices, the configuration and support of some server based systems and providing triage and remediation to a wide range of technology related issues.

You will also be responsible for user provisioning, including the creation, amendment and termination of end user accounts and services, and will cover traditional compute and the rapidly increasing mobile device population.

About You

You have at least 3 years experience of managing and supporting Microsoft desktop operating systems and applications as an EUC Engineer or equivalent, have proven experience of providing advanced technical support within a distributed environment and of incident and problem management within an ITIL framework.

A strong communicator, you demonstrate a structured approach to triage and remediation of a wide range of technology related issues, where possible resolving at root cause, you have experience of scripting and automation tools, and have good knowledge across all tools, as well as being able to challenge and implement new solutions.

 Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
