Relationship Development Partner

About The Role

The Relationship Development Partner will build and maintain excellent relationships and partnerships across the health and social care community to increase enquiry volumes thereby giving homes a choice of admissions.

A critical role within the organisation, you will help to support the NHS with hospital discharges and other stakeholders with community placements by identifying and promoting care homes that can meet the care needs of NHS patients or those living in the community who require long or short-term care.

You will provide support to Care Home Managers to ensure a high level of awareness and that the Care Homes profile is in existence amongst key health and social care stakeholders and the local community and will attend and present at meetings held at Group and Area level to outline results achieved and best practices.
 
We welcome applicants who are willing to work either hybrid 3 days  a week from our support office in Glasgow and 2 days remote working or 5 days per week office based in our Darlington support office. 

About You

With good standard of GCSE English and Maths, you will have excellent communication skills, experience of dealing with a variety of professional stakeholders and the ability to develop strong relationships.  

You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ideally have previous experience in the care home sector.  You will have client liaison experience in a soft sales environment, ideally B2B sales.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and therefore it is important that you are able to recognise the signs which may indicate possible abuse, harm or neglect in its different forms and know what to do if there are any concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
